A self-proclaimed musician  secretly entered State House to apparently seek Uhuru Kenyatta’s help in recording his music video.

Mathew Kinuthia Maina was, however, arrested on Friday, June 19, 2015 after scaling the perimeter wall to State House and illegally gaining entrance to one of the most secure compounds in the country.

He was arraigned before court yesterday to face charges of terrorism. In mitigation Mr Maina said he wanted to seek Uhuru’s help in financing the production of his music video. He was remanded for eight days to allow Anti-Terrorism Police to finalise investigations into his case.

This is not the first time someone is being arrested for illegally gaining access into Uhuru’s compound. Another man was in April charged with terrorism after illegally entering the president’s Gatundu home.

The suspect, who was later released after family said he was mentally challenged, was allegedly carrying out surveillance at the Gatundu home in preparation for an attack.
